At Kingsteignton United Reformed Church (KURC), we’re taking exciting steps toward the future. In 2025, we let go of the beloved “Old Chapel” building that had been our worshipping home for more than 200 years to move more permanently into the former church hall.
Through a feasibility study with local architects, we’re exploring how our church property can become even more accessible, welcoming, and relevant. We want to create spaces that truly serve our congregation and the wider community.
This project isn’t just about bricks and mortar. It’s about “building belonging:” creating a flexible, modern environment where faith, friendship, and community life can continue to grow together.
This page will be updated regularly with news, designs, and opportunities to get involved as the project develops. We invite you to journey with us as we shape a space that reflects who we are today and who we’re becoming for tomorrow.
