Rooted in faith, open to all
Worship is at the heart of our life together at Kingsteignton URC.
It’s the time when we gather as a community to pause, give thanks, and re-centre ourselves in God’s love.
Our services are accessible, thoughtful, and open to everyone.
Whether you’ve been coming to church for years or you’re just beginning to explore what faith might mean for you, you are welcome here.
Sunday Worship 10:30 a.m.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. for our main service of worship. Each week brings something a little different—sometimes joyful, sometimes reflective—but always centred on Christ and shaped by love for our neighbours and our world.
We sing traditional hymns and occasionally contemporary songs, pray together, and reflect on readings from the Bible in ways that connect faith with everyday life. Communion is celebrated every second Sunday and on special occasions. It is always open to all who wish to share in it.
Children are very welcome and we provide simple activities and crafts they can enjoy during worship.
After the service, we share tea and coffee. It’s a good chance to connect, laugh, and catch up. Many say that this time of friendship and conversation is just as important as the service itself!
Mindful Worship - 1st Tuesdays 7:00p.m.
We are trialing an alternative service offering once per month on the first Tuesday at 7pm.
While it is still in development, this service will be designed to be a more mindful approach to worship, one which uses prayer and meditation. It is aimed at providing a place of peace and stillness in the midst of our busy lives and world.
Please come along and explore with us as this offering takes shape!
